Drivers Wanted Community Caregivers’ drivers bring our clients to medical appointments, to shop for groceries and pick up prescriptions. Our services are provided at no charge. Your neighbors need you. Requests for rides have increased dramatically and we need more drivers to serve the elderly and people of all ages who are unable to drive. Caregivers Hosts Monthly Dementia Support Group: The Alzheimer's Project. HBO's "THE ALZHEIMER'S PROJECT" takes a look at the faces behind the disease - and the forces leading us to find a cure. This multi-platform series reveals groundbreaking Alzheimer discoveries and the effects this debilitating and fatal disease has on those with Alzheimer's and their families. To view each of the films, "The Memory Loss Tapes", "Grandpa, do you know who I am?", "Caregivers", "Momentum in Science, Pt 1". "Momentum in Science, Pt 2", click on the link that takes you to the Project Site, then click on the desired film.

west on Western Avenue, about ¼ mile west of 155, look for the right hand turn
into our driveway just before the light to the Price Chopper Plaza (which is on
your left). You will see a big blue and white sign for the Foundation of New
York State Nurses, that is where we are. The building is set back from Western Avenue.
If you pass SEFCU on your left, you’ve gone too far. Traveling east on Western Avenue, about ¼ mile east of Winding Brook Drive (also the entrance to the YMCA), look for the left hand turn into our driveway just after the light to the Price Chopper Plaza (which is on your right). If you pass Walgreen’s (which is on your left), you’ve gone too far.
